The Technology
LUen luciole est un petit boîtier avec une radio et un ruban de LED. Fiée sur un vélo, elle écoute les lucioles autoir d'elle et leur parle directement, de boîtier à boîtier. Il n'y a rien à configurer et rien à connecter: On l'allume, elle cherche ses voisines

The Link
The project is designed for gatherings of cyclists, where the fireflies can cross paths.

The Principles
Easy to assemble, accessible, autonomous, open, and collective. Plug-and-play components, low unit cost, no internet connection, no server, the code and plans are public, and a firefly is worth more when it meets others.

The colors
A single firefly displays various colors that cycle. When other fireflies approach, a common color fills based on the size of the group. Together, the ribbon is unified, the fireflies in the group breathe at the same time: The common color travels slowly across the shades at the same rhythm.
